Happy Life Happy Wife!

Often times you hear happy wife means you live a happy life. Yes this is true but I argue that it is true both ways. Happy spouse and the household is great.

My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years…in May and have dated now for almost 13 years. Damn! you say? Do the math and you’ll see that gets us to 12th graders, high-school sweethearts is what people call that.

I believe you have a soul-mate in life and it’s a once in a lifetime kind of thing, not everyone marries there soul mate, not everyone finds their soul-mate. We find ourselves exceptionally blessed to have been placed in each others life. Maybe one day I’ll do a post on soul mates. We read each others mind, we finish sentences, we call each other at the same time (not by coincidence),  it goes on and on but seriously we are “soul-ly” tied. However, we aren’t perfect people, just perfect for each other.

God continues to bless our union. We connect on so many levels, we are also different, but that makes for a fun relationship. So much growth has occurred and imagine the 17 year old is different from the 21 year old, the 25 year old, and the (29)30 year old. BUT GOD, has shown us through many experiences that we are soul-mates and I take honor and pride in being a wife to the love of my life. Are we perfect, no, but If any advise I write on this blog can help someone in there relationship now or later then it is worthwhile.
